Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the trailwork originally scheduled for March 9th-12th has been rescheduled for March 18th-20th. We will meet at the trailhead Saturday morning for a safety briefing and to distribute trailwork tools. If you have your own small hand-held pruners, please bring them; all other tools will be provided. We will work problem areas during the hike to the camp location on Saturday, setting up camp approximately 5 miles in on the trail and just outside the wilderness area boundary (perhaps sooner if we find many problem spots along the way). We will devote our full day on Sunday and a half day on Monday to work within the designated wilderness. On Monday we will begin our hike out in the early afternoon, making an annual visit to Boggin's Oasis for burgers & milkshakes before returning to Spokane that night. In addition to packing for a normal backpack trip, please bring work gloves and safety glasses. Wear warm layers that can get dirty and work boots. We're hoping for sunshine & wildflowers, but we'll need to be prepared for rain, too.
