In 2020 when the ski areas closed, I found this great ridge line to snowshoe. We will meet at the Willow Creek Road and the I-90 Willow Creek overpass at 7:40am sharp. From here, it is about a mile to the trailhead. Then about .3 of a mile to the logging road turn off. There are 5 relatively easy switchbacks, and about .5 miles on a road until we go off road and jump up into the shaft of the arrow. Once in the arrow, we will head to the point of the arrow, where we will have a snack before setting out up thru the woods, until we break out onto the State Line Ridge. Our lunch spot will be about a mile out on the ridge line. This snowshoe is about 8 miles RT, with about 2800 verts. Because I want to lead this snowshoe on a sunny Sunday, I will postpone until conditions are ideal. Please join on line, then CALL ME AT 208.659.8183.
