To get to the trailhead, take Francis St west to just past 9-Mile Falls. Go left across the bridge below the dam, then take another left in front of the Riverside State Park Ranger Station. We'll start out on Trail #25, work our way up to an overlook of the canyon, then down to the canyon bottom where we'll hike the creek bed back to the Spokane River. We'll finish by taking the Centennial Trail back to the parking lot. Route is 3+ miles RT with about 300 feet of elevation gain. Difficulty is moderate with some unstable footing and boulder hopping in the creek bed, so poles might be handy. We return after dark and Discover Pass is required. Leader- Sharon Yablon
